WHO AM I?

Hi! I am Komal.

I am that person who would start reading three novels altogether but leave all of them midway. I like to study photographs very closely. I make big decisions pretty quickly if it fulfills my basic criteria (not that of a good thing, eh?) I believe art has no definition and is individualistic. I tend to buy things in orange. I obsess over anything coconut/cucumber. I feel inferiority complexes can be very healthy for grooming.

Some of the photos that you may see is pure self-exploration. My focus is to capture moments without having my subjects knowing. Sometimes i lose, sometimes i win. I will be that person that you might not notice given i am always running but i have got your back. I long to be photographed when i am not too self-aware. Hence, my motivation behind photographing others.

I studied engineering but always had a certain proclivity towards photography since i got my very first camera. Now that is a very common story of every photographer out there but I actually realized i might just want to be a photographer myself in the middle of a very, say chimerical wedding photoshoot where groom was my husband and the bride was, well, me. I do videos too sometimes, but mainly, i like to do photos. Based in Sunnyvale, California, I am looking for opportunities to do engagement/wedding shoots of couples who are comfortable being adventurous.
